Rachel Carroll

Project Coordinator

Rachel joined the Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health at the University of Georgia as a project coordinator in 2017. She graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2014 with a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Psychology and a M.S. in Natural Resource Ecology and Management from Oklahoma State University in 2017.

Job duties

  • Development, establishment, coordination and organization of citizen science projects
  • Assist in the development of Bugwood publications, data entry, and website updates
  • Serve as a primary contact to facilitate and aid citizen science project inquiries and support for National Forest personnel, current and potential partners, and citizen science volunteers
  • Attend conferences and workshops to promote and disseminate citizen science materials and program information as well as facilitate communication with other organizations
