Web Application Developer

Ichcha Baliga is a Web Application Developer at the Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health at the University of Georgia where she designs and develops websites and web applications. She holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a concentration in Information Security and Privacy, bringing a passion for scalable and secure software solutions to every project. Prior to joining UGA, she served as a Cybersecurity Engineer at General Electric (GE), working on secure enterprise applications, role-based access systems, and AWS-based deployments. Ichcha also held a Graduate Assistant role at UNC Charlotte’s Office of Assessment and Accreditation where she assisted in accreditation activities. She also loves to volunteer her time to community organizations, such as the Hawai‘i Children’s Action Network (HCAN), where she improved user privacy, experience, and SEO.
