The University of Georgia Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health (Bugwood) follows the University of Georgia Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, and protect sensitive information. This means we carefully manage your data and limit who has access to it.

In addition, we want to explain how we handle your information:

• We do not share your usernames or passwords with any outside organizations.

• We do not share your personal information (like your email address, phone number, or physical address) with outside organizations unless:
  • You request commercial permission to use an image. In that case, we will share your name and email address with the photographer or their representative so they can contact you directly.

• We will only use your contact information to:
  • Respond to your image usage requests.
  • Contact you about requests to use your images.
  • Communicate with you about your account or images if there are any questions.
  • Send you a semi-annual update if you have publicly available images in our system, to:
    • Make sure your email address is still valid.
    • Notify you of any system changes or improvements.
